The 2012 Preakness Stakes post position draw has been released on a live broadcast on HRTV. Where the horses will start on Saturday will play a role in their odds of winning the 137th running of the Preakness.
After a second place finish at the Kentucky Derby, Bodemeister, owned by New Jersey's Zayat Stables, is the favorite to win the Preakness. Kentucky Derby winner I'll Have Another will be trying to continue the quest for the Triple Crown on Saturday. Overall, there will be six horses in the field that also raced at Churchill Downs.
