2012 Preakness Entries: Zetterholm

The New York-bred Zetterholm will be looking for its fourth straight win on Saturday, May 19 when the 2012 Preakness Stakes arrives.

Zetterholm captured its third consecutive victory at Aqueduct on April 6, sprinting from the back of the five-horse field to overtake all of its competitors.

Trained by Richard Dutrow Jr. for the first time this year, the middle son of the famous Richard Dutrow, Zetterholm has $123,505 in career earnings. Dutrow Jr. has worked for his father since the age of 16 and has experience winning big races. In 2004, the Dutrow Jr.-trained Big Brown won the Kentucky Derby.

Zetterholm's jockey, Junior Alvarado, will be making his first start in the Preakness but ranks in the top 10 among all jockey's nationally with more than $4 million in winnings this year.
