2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament, Notre Dame Vs. Yale: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish Lacrosse Team comes into its seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance as the No. 4 seed, and facing a first-round matchup with the Ivy League Champion Yale Bulldogs.

Yale comes into the game with a record of 11-4 and a ranking of No. 11, however they are unseeded for the tourney. The Bulldogs come into the tournament very hot, having won their last nine games. They have not appeared in the tournament since 1992.

Notre Dame is looking for a victory that would allow them to move on to the quarterfinals for the fourth time in the last five years. They will look to smolder Yale with their defense which ranks as the top in the nation, allowing just 5.92 goals per game.

The winner of the contest will advance to the national quarterfinals to play the winner of Virginia-Princeton game.
