2012 Players Championship Scores: Kevin Na, Matt Kuchar, And Zach Johnson Tied For First After Round 2

Round two has finished up at the 2012 Players Championship. Friday saw Kevin Na shoot 69, Matt Kuchar shoot 68, and Zach Johnson shoot a 66 to settle al three at 8-under and in a tie for first place. Johnson posted the best improvement from round one, moving from shooting a 70 to a 66, so we'll see if that momentum continues tomorrow. St. John's graduate Keegan Bradley is tied for 30th at 2-under, so while he will easily make the cut if he wants to make any noise in the standings he'll need a very strong third round. Tied with Bradley at 30th is Tiger Woods, who has continued his struggles relative to the high expectations fostered by his long career.

One of the more significant developments from round two at the TPC Sawgrass course is Rory McIlroy, who had entered with high hopes, will once again miss the cut. That makes three times in as many years that he has missed the cut in the tournament.
