Ian Poulter shot at 7-under-par 65 on Thursday which gave him the lead at the 2012 Players Championship from the TPC at Sawgrass. Poulter has a one shot lead on Blake Adams and Martin Laird.
St. John's grad Keegan Bradley finished his Thursday round at an even par 72 (t-62nd). Bradley was in a group with Matt Kuchar who shot 4-under-par 68 (t-7th) and Webb Simpson who shot a 1-over-par 73 (t-82nd).
The 2011 Players Championship winner, K.J. Choi, shot a 3-over-par 75 which has him tied for 120th.
