The New York Red Bulls are third in the Eastern Conference of the MLS Standings with a record of 4-3-1 and 13 points. The Bulls split their games for the week winning at home against the New Egland Revolution 1-0, but falling short in Washington to D.C. United 4-1.

The biggest news of the week was the loss of Thierry Henry to a hamstring injury. Before the injury Henry had a beautiful goal against the Revolution as described by our Red Bulls blog, Once A Metro:

Henry took advantage of the visitors' early defensive troubles, taking down a long ball from Connor Lade, sprinting around Stephen McCarthy and finishing with a beautiful chip over Matt Reis to give New York the one-goal advantage.

The injury to Henry means the Red Bulls Captain will miss 3-4 weeks. Henry has contributed in all but four of New York’s 18 goals.
