2012 NFL Draft Grades: Giants Earn A-Minus From SB Nation

Draft Grades from the 2012 NFL Draft continue to roll in now that the proceedings have wrapped up. Mel Kiper didn't think much of the New York Giants' draft, giving the Super Bowl champs a C-plus. SB Nation had a little bit different take, however. Ryan Van Bibber graded out the Giants among the best teams in the NFC, giving them an A-Minus.

Thumbs up for grabbing Rueben Randle at the tail end of the second round. I thought he would go earlier. They should be able to score points adding Randle to the mix as well as first-round pick David Wilson. The downside with picking Wilson is that it forced them hold off a blue-chip lineman.

Line depth came on day three. They need to make a viable backup out of either Brandon Mosley orMatt McCants.

Whoever you agree with likely depends on how much you think the Giants gave up by drafting Wilson in the first round instead of a much-needed offensive lineman.
