2012 NFL Draft: Doug Martin Selected 31st By Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With the 31st overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft -- and the final one before the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants get their turn -- the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Doug Martin, running back, Boise State.

Impact on the Giants:

The first selection of the Greg Schiano era as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers might sting for the Giants -- I know it does for their fans.

Martin is an all-purpose running back who had often been connected to the running back-needy Giants during the mock draft process.

The Giants are now on the clock, meaning Radio City Music Hall is about to get loud.
