2012 NFL Draft: St. Louis Rams Select Michael Brockers, DT, LSU At No. 14

The St. Louis Rams Thursday night selected LSU defensive tackle Michael Brockers with the 14th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

St. Louis had been thought to possibly be interested in a wide receiver to help quarterback Sam Bradford, but opted instead to address their porous rush defense.

Impact On The New York Jets

The draft is thus far working out for the Jets, who were rumored earlier to want to move up from No. 16 but have thus far stayed patient. The Jets still have several quality pass rushers to choose from, including Melvin Ingram of South Carolina, Courtney Upshaw of Alabama and Chandler Jones of Syracuse.
