NFL Draft 2012: Michael Floyd Goes To Arizona Cardinals At No. 13

With the 13th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals have selected Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd. Floyid is the second-best WR prospect in the draft and the No. 17 prospect overall, according to Mocking The Draft's rankings.

The scouting report on Floyd from Mocking The Draft asserts the 6-foot-3, 224-pound receiver is a bona-fide playmaker that goes to the ball while it's in flight. He does come with a history of legal trouble (three alcohol-related arrests at Notre Dame) and character concerns, however.

Arizona's next pick is the 18th in the third round.

Impact on the Giants and Jets:

Kevin Kolb now has several playmaking targets at receiver, which could boost the Cardinals to the top of the NFC West and provide the Giants with more competition in the conference.
