2012 NFL Draft: Miami Dolphins Take Ryan Tannehill With Eighth Selection

The eighth pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, belonging to the Miami Dolphins, was widely considered to be a tipping point in the draft. The Dolphins used the pick to do what many thought they would do, take Ryan Tannehill of Texas A&M to be their quarterback of the future.

If Tannehill can be the quarterback the Dolphins need this could make life in the AFC East more difficult for the New York Jets.
