Nets Vs. Celtics: New Jersey Comes Up Short In Second Half Loss To Boston, 94-82

New Jersey's slow start in the second half leads to another home loss.

New Jersey falls to Boston 94-82 after scoring only 13 points in the third quarter. The game was tied at 48 at halftime based on a strong first quarter by the Nets. The third quarter was a different story however, as Boston came out strong doubling the Nets point total and cruising to victory.

Former NBA D-leaguer Gerald Green led New Jersey with 15 points on six of fourteen shooting, he was three of six shooting from three point range. Jordan Williams added 12 points and 14 rebounds in the losing effort. Point Guard Deron Williams assisted on 24 of the Nets 28 points in the first quarter.

New Jersey is finishing out the string of four remaining home games in the Prudential Center before they move to their new home in Brooklyn next season after the NBA’s Board of Governors voted on Friday to allow the move.
