The New York Knicks got a three-point shot from J.R Smith with a minute left that put the Knicks up for good. Smith's shot stood, and the Knicks went on to beat the Milwaukee Bucks by a final score of 111-107 on Wednesday night in Milwaukee.
This win was the Knicks' third in their last four games. It also puts some distance between New York and Milwaukee for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. New York is two games ahead of the Bucks with each team having eight games remaining.
Carmelo Anthony had 32 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Knicks. Tyson Chandler had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Iman Shumpert had 16 points in the victory.
Monta Ellis had 35 points, six rebounds and ten assists to lead the Bucks. Brandon Jennings had 22 points, and Mike Dunleavy had 19.
The Knicks host the Washington Wizards on Friday night.
