The New York Knicks fell behind 8-0 in the early goings of their Tuesday night matchup with the Chicago Bulls, and they trail 47-35 at halftime.
Forward Carmelo Anthony kept his team competitive, dropping 14 points on 6-10 shooting and posing problems for Chicago's normally stingy defense.
But he was the only Knick to score in double figures, and the Bulls held New York to under 38 percent shooting in the opening half.
Derrick Rose, who returned to Chicago's lineup on Sunday after missing 12 games with a groin ailment, is inactive for tonight's game after injuring his ankle in his return.
Chicago shot 50 percent from three point range, and forward Luol Deng led all Bulls scorers with eight points, while adding five rebounds and three assists.
