It will be a matchup of veteran experience against youthful promise when Freddy Garcia and Wei-Yin Chen square off on Tuesday night in the second of a three games in the series between the Yankees and Orioles.
Garcia earned the fourth spot in the Yankees rotation this spring, and will look to repeat his performance of 2011, when he recorded an impressive 3.62 ERA in 146.2 innings of work.
New York finally scored a victory in 2012 on Monday night behind a quality start from Ivan Nova, who three seven innings and allowed just two runs.
Chen, a 26-year old from Japan, will make his major league debut, having signed with the Orioles this offseason. He previously starred for the Chunichi Dragons in Japan.
