The 2012 Big East Tournament continues Thursday, as the top-seeded Syracuse Orange and No. 9 Connecticut Huskies tip off day three at noon ET on ESPN. The Huskies advanced to the third round with a victory Tuesday over the West Virginia Mountaineers, while the Orange received a double-bye after finishing the regular season a top the Big East standings.
After Syracuse and UConn, the No. 5 Georgetown Hoyas, who knocked off No. 13 Pittsburgh Panthers in the second round, will face the No. 4 Cincinnati Bearcats, who earned their double-bye on the last day of the regular season.
The night session begin with No. 7 Louisville Cardinals taking on No. 2 Marquette Golden Eagles, while the No. 6 South Florida Bulls and No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish play in the night-cap.
On Wednesday, Louisville defeated the No.10 Seton Hall Pirates and USF beat the No. 14 Villanova Wildcats.
