The quarterfinals of the 2012 Big East Tournament is set, as the South Florida Bulls downed the Villanova Wildcats in day two's night cap, 56-47. Four games are on tap for Friday starting with the Syracuse Orange taking on the Connecticut Huskies.
Syracuse had the coveted double-bye, so this will be their first game of the tournament, while the Huskies are coming off a dramatic overtime win against West Virginia on Tuesday afternoon.
Cincinnati Bearcats, Marquette Golden Eagles and Notre Dame Fighting Irish also had double-byes to start the tournament. The semifinals happen Friday night, and the championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 9:00 p.m.
