By the end of Wednesday night, another NCAA Tournament ticket will be punched.
In the Northeast Conference Tournament final, top seeded Long Island will square off against No. 3 Robert Morris for the right to keep playing deeper into March.
The Blackbirds (24-8, 16-2) have arrived at this point by beating Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac while the Colonials have left Monmouth and Wagner in their wake. With both teams having no chance of an at-large bid, all the marbles will be up for grabs this evening.

In their only previous meeting this year, Robert Morris (24-9, 13-5) took care of Long Island with relative ease, winning 75-66 on a strong effort from Velton Jones who scored 23 points to go with seven assists and six rebounds.
That loss was one of only two conference defeats the Blackbirds suffered all year. Long Island will need big efforts tonight from Julian Boyd and Jamal Olasewere, who combine to average better than 34 points per game.
