Seton Hall Vs. Providence Halftime Score: Pirates Ahead 36-23

Led by five 3-pointers, the Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball program has overcome an early 9-0 deficit to take a 36-23 halftime lead over the Providence Friars in a first-round Big East Conference Tournament game at Madison Square Garden. The winner of this game advances to play the No. 7-seeded Louisville Cardinals Wednesday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

Freshman forward Brandon Mobley added a team-high 11 points, while senior forward Jordan Theodore added nine to help give Seton Hall a 14-point cushion heading into the locker room.

Freshman forward LaDontae Henton has tallied a team-best seven points for Providence, which is shooting just 25-percent from the floor, including 2-for-10 from 3-point range. The Pirates, meanwhile, have made 5 of their 12 3-pointers.
