2012 MAAC Championship: Fairfield Up 30-26 Over Loyola At Halftime

The No. 4 seed Fairfield Stags took a 30-26 lead over the No. 2 Loyola (Md.) Greyhounds at halftime of the 2012 MAAC Tournament Championship Game on Monday.

Rakim Sanders leads all scorers with 10 points through 20 minutes. He has done most of his damage at the free throw line, where he has made 6-of-7 attempts. Both teams have done a nice job at the charity stripe, with the Stags going 11-of-14 and the Greyhounds making 9-of-10.

Loyola's starters have not shot well, with Erik Etherly, Robert Olson and Dylon Cormier combining to go 3-for-11 from the field. The Greyhounds have gotten nice production off the bench from Anthony Winbush and Justin Drummond with six points each. Fairfield's Maurice Barrow has been the leader on the boards, with six rebounds to go along with his six points.
