Jeremy Lin Injury Update: Knicks Hoping For April 3 Return

New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin has reportedly been ruled out of Friday night's meeting with the Atlanta Hawks due to a sore left knee, and now it seems that he is expected to miss the following game as well.

A Knicks spokesman told ESPN New York's Ian Begley that the team is hoping Lin returns for the two-game road trip beginning on April 3, which means that Lin is likely to miss Saturday's meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Linsanity has already been put on hold for the past two games, both wins. Baron Davis has stepped into Lin's vacated starting spot and has averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists during Lin's absence, far more than his season averages of 5.6 points, 5.1 assists and 2.2 rebounds.
