The Northwestern Wildcats will play the Washington Huskies on Friday, in the only scheduled 2012 NIT Tournament game. The winner will advance to the NIT's version of the elite 8.
Northwestern is the fourth seed in the region, while Washington is the first. The Wildcats scraped by Akron in the first round; the Huskies defeated UT-Arlington by double digits. Washington is a 5.5 point favorite in Vegas.
The winner of the Friday's match-up will advance and face the winner of the other Region's quarterfinal – Oregon vs. Iowa – to determine the winner of Region one. Washington is 22-10 on the season and went 14-4 in the Pac-12.
Friday's will be televised on both ESPNU and ESPN3.
