New Jersey Nets guard Deron Williams was named as a reserve for the 2012 NBA All-Star game today. This will be the third All-Star game in a row for Williams. Tyson Chandler and Amare Stoudemire from the New York Knicks were not selected. Carmelo Anthony from the Knicks is the only starter for either the Knicks or the Nets.
Williams is averaging 20.9 points per game and 8.6 assists per game for the Nets this season. The 2012 NBA All-Star Game will be played on Feb. 26 at 9 p.m. the Amway Center in Orlando. The game will be televised by TNT.
