The Northeast Conference men's basketball conference tournament bracket and schedule was finalized Saturday, as the league finished up regular-season play with a handful of games.

Despite losing their regular-season finale, the Long Island U. Blackbirds finished as the league's regular-season champion, meaning they will be the top seed in the upcoming league tournament, which begins March 1.

The Blackbirds (22-8, 16-2 NEC) edged the Wagner Seahawks (24-5, 15-3), who finished second in the 12-team conference that features just eight squads in its three-day, single-elimination tournament. Another local program making the tournament was the St. Francis, NY Terriers.
