2012 NFL Combine, Day Three Schedule: Syracuse' Chandler Jones Arrives In Indianapolis

Chandler Jones, a defensive end prospect from the Syracuse Orange football program and possible first-round NFL Draft selection, will arrive in Indianapolis Friday as one of a bunch of day three arrivals for the 2012 NFL Combine. Jones will not perform any drills or workouts -- he will do that Monday morning, but will register, go through the orientation process and interview with NFL franchises that could select him in April.

Another local college football player arriving in Indy Thursday will be Rutgers Scarlet Knights defensive lineman prospect Justin Francis (6-foot-2, 270 pounds), who's projected as a possible seventh-round selection by NFLDraftScout.com.

Day three of the NFL Combine will also feature Jones' former teammates at Syracuse, tight end Nick Provo (6-foot-3, 249 pounds) and offensive lineman Andrew Tiller (6-5,334) going through NFLPA meetings, psychological testing and special teams workouts. Provo and Tiller have already been in Indy for two days, as they arrived Tuesday.

Doing the same thing as Provo and Tiller will be Rutgers' offensive lineman Desmond Wynn (6-5, 305), while his former teammate and another possible first-round selection, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu, will be put through medical exams, psychological testing and conducting interviews.

Here's the NFL Draft Combine schedule for day three:

  • P, K, OL, TE: NFLPA Meeting, psychological testing, PK/ST workout, interviews
  • QB, WR, RB: Measurements, medical examinations media, psychological testing, interviews
  • DL, LB: Registration, orientation, interviews
