Big East Tournament 2012: What The Bracket Would Look Like Today 3.0

Wednesday's slate of games in the Big East Conference provided a bit of a shake up in the Big East Tournament bracket seedings, as the West Virginia Mountaineers lost their sixth game in eight tries and have dropped all the way to a No. 10 seed in the 16-team, five-day event at Madison Square Garden, March 6-10.

With a victory Tuesday over the Georgetown Hoyas, the Seton Hall Pirates have put themselves in a position to earn a first-round bye, while the Syracuse Orange, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Marquette Golden Eagles and Hoyas all have double-byes.

The Orange are the only team to have locked up a double-bye and a share of the Big East crown, as they downed the South Florida Bulls, currently the No. 5 seed, 56-48 on Wednesday.

Mind you, most Big East teams have three regular-season games remaining, while Syracuse only has two. The Big East regular season will completed next Saturday, March 3.
