New York Rangers fans may not want the team to add Columbus Blue Jackets star Rick Nash, but it seems increasingly possible that the team could end up doing just that before next Monday's NHL Trade Deadline.
A published report indicated that the Philadelphia Flyers think Columbus is asking too much in exchange for Nash. Current thinking is that if the Flyers are out of the bidding for the 27-year-old forward that makes New York the most likely landing spot.
Nash scored a game-tying goal against the Rangers late in Sunday's game, and the Madison Square Garden crowd responded with chants of "We don't want you."
Despite that, Pro Hockey Talk opines that the Rangers are "one of the few teams in position to make a run at the Blue Jackets captain."
Best guess is that if Nash ends up in a Rangers' uniform then Blueshirts' fans will change their tune.
