Big East Tournament 2012: What The Bracket Would Look Like Today 2.0

There wasn't much shuffling in the Big East Conference men's basketball standings after this weekend's games, as each favorite took care of its respective business and earned victories. So, the 2012 Big East Tournament bracket looks very similar to last Thursday's edition of What The Bracket Would Look Like Today. However, there are some minor changes.

As of Monday, Feb. 20, the Seton Hall Pirates have lost their first-round bye in the five-day, 16-team, single-elimination event at Madison Square Garden, as the West Virginia Mountaineers have moved up from No. 9 to No. 8.

From here on out, the Syracuse Orange have just three regular-season games remaining, while the remaining double-bye schools -- Marquette Golden Eagles, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Georgetown Hoyas -- all have four.

The Orange host the South Florida Bulls and can all but lock up the No. 1 seed with a victory. However, there's a slim chance that Syracuse could lose two of its final three, and Notre Dame, which owns the head-to-head tiebreaker between the two schools, wins out and earns the top spot.

Either way, it seems like Syracuse, Notre Dame and Marquette are all locks to earn a double-bye, while Georgetown, South Florida, Louisville Cardinals and Cincinnati Bearcats still have shots at snagging the last, double-bye slot.

If the tournament started today, here's what the Big East Tournament bracket and schedule would look like:
