The New York Giants lead the New Orleans Saints, 35-27, after the third quarter at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
The Giants and Saints traded touchdowns in the third quarter but New York retained their eight-point lead from halftime. New York scored the first two touchdowns of the third quarter and threatened to turn the contest into a rout. The Saints stormed back after going down 35-13 with a pair of Darren Sproles touchdown runs.
David Wilson scored his second touchdown of the game with his six-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. Wilson also had a kickoff return for a touchdown in the first half. Hakeem Nicks caught his first touchdown and Eli Manning's third touchdown pass of the day with 8:13 to play in the quarter.
Turnovers have aided both teams during the game and Manning's second interception set up the Saints most recent touchdown with 1:51 to play in the third quarter.
