Saturday will be a busy day for New York-New Jersey college basketball, as the likes of St. John's, Seton Hall and Rutgers all hit the floor. A contest between Hofstra and LIU Brooklyn adds another element to the full schedule of games.
All games are on Saturday.
Fordham at St. John's, 7 p.m. ET
After seeing their four-game winning streak get snapped in an 81-65 loss to the San Francisco Dons on Tuesday, the 6-3 Red Storm will look to rebound against the 1-7 Rams, who have dropped four consecutive games.
Iona at Rutgers, 9:30 p.m. ET
The Scarlet Knights (4-2 overall) lost their last contest, an 80-67 defeat at the hands of Ole Miss in the SEC-Big East Challenge on Dec. 1, which also snapped Rutgers' four-game winning streak. The 3-3 Gaels, on the other hand, have alternated wins and losses so far this season, their last outing ending in a 64-62 defeat to the St. Peter's Peacocks.
Seton Hall at Wake Forest, 7 p.m. ET
The Pirates head to North Carolina for a meeting with the Demon Deacons after a 68-59 win over the N.J.I.T. Highlanders on Tuesday. Off to a 6-2 start, Seton Hall will face a Wake Forest team coming off a 71-60 win over the High Point Panthers on Wednesday.
Hofstra at LIU Brooklyn, 2 p.m. ET
Winners of two in a row, the Blackbirds host the Pride, who have dropped four consecutive games. LIU Brooklyn, at 2-4 overall, have earned victories over the Columbia Lions and Lafayette Leopards. To this point, Hofstra's season has been one of streaks, as they began losing two straight, followed by rattling off three wins in a row and now, they're mired in their current losing skid.
