College football's biggest individual achievement, the Heisman Trophy, will be awarded Saturday (8 p.m. ET on ESPN) to one of three finalists - Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel, Notre Dame Fighting Irish linebacker Manti Te'o and Kansas St. Wildcats quarterback Collin Klein - at the Best Buy Theather in Times Square.
Klein was a frontrunner for much of the season, but a November injury combined with some average performances after his return have him being considered an underdog at this point. Te'o is a rare defensive player that is a finalist. He led the Fighting Irish defense in an undefeated campaign that will see them playing for the national title.
Manziel is probably the favorite at this point; if he wins, he'd be the first freshman ever to do so. Manziel had an impressive year throwing the football while rushing for over 1,000 yards in Texas A&M's first season in the SEC. He also had a big highlight win, as A&M handed defending national champion (and then No. 1) Alabama their only loss of the season.
