NBA schedule: Knicks, Nets both play twice over the weekend

The Knicks and Nets each take the floor twice over the weekend in what is a crowded overall schedule around the NBA.

Debby Wong-US PRESSWIRE

It will be a busy weekend in the NBA as well as for the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks, as each team has two games on their upcoming respective schedules.

On Friday, Brooklyn, coming off two straight losses to the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder, hosts the Golden State Warriors. Elsewhere, the Boston Celtics are in Philadelphia taking on the 76ers in the first game of a home-and-home between the teams, and later the Los Angeles Lakers will be on the road taking on the Thunder.

The Nets are off Saturday but the Knicks -- after a dominant win over the Heat on Thursday without Carmelo Anthony -- get back in action, as they'll be in Chicago facing the Bulls. Also, the Charlotte Bobcats host the San Antonio Spurs and the Heat host the New Orleans Hornets.

Sunday features a six-game schedule, as the Milwaukee Bucks will be in Brooklyn for a meeting with the Nets, while the Knicks host the Denver Nuggets. The day's first game is an afternoon contest between the Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Clippers.
