The New York Knicks will clash with the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night at the Time Warner Cable Arena.
New York (12-4) comes in playing very good basketball, winners of three straight. The Knicks have surprised just about every basketball pundit, as they share the best record in the Eastern Conference with the Miami Heat.
The biggest shock has been the defense from players like Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith, which has led New York to being ranked eighth in points allowed with 94.7 per game.
The Knicks will also be getting a boost Wednesday when Jason Kidd returns to the floor after being out for a couple weeks with back spasms. Raymond Felton will also be in the lineup despite a bone bruise on his left hand.
Charlotte is cold right now, losers of four consecutive tilts. However, Mike Dunlap has this club playing much better after setting a record for NBA futility with just seven wins all of last year. This team has already matched that total and is playing competitive even in losses with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Kemba Walker leading the way.
