On Wednesday, the NFL announced the 2013 NFL Pro Bowl rosters, and the New York Jets will send a couple players to the AFC's squad. Cornerback Antonio Cromartie and safety LaRon Landry were named to the roster.
Offensive tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson was named a second alternate, and kick returner Joe McKnight was named as a third alternate among AFC kick returners.
This season, the Jets have struggled on both sides of the ball, though it's no surprise that their two players are from the defensive side. As a whole, the defense played far below expectations, but Cromartie and Landry have been solid.
If Ferguson doesn't get called up, it will be his first missed Pro Bowl in three years.
