The Brooklyn Nets have struggled lately and have had problems with the Milwaukee Bucks for years. They will look to turn things around when they travel to Milwaukee on Wednesday. The Nets (14-13) have lost nine of their last 12 games after starting the season 11-4, and are coming off a 93-76 loss to the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day. Brooklyn struggled from the foul line against Boston, shooting only 58.6% from the charity stripe as star guards Deron Williams and Joe Johnson were held to a total of 22 points.
The Nets struggles against the Bucks go back a lot further than their current woes, as the Nets haven't beaten Milwaukee in their last 12 attempts. The last time the Nets beat the Bucks was in 2009. Milwaukee (14-12) beat Brooklyn once already this season, defeating the Nets, 97-88, on Dec. 9 in Brooklyn.
The Bucks are coming off a home loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, Dec. 22 and are hoping to get a win before hosting the Heat on Saturday, Dec. 29. The Nets host the Bobcats on Friday, Dec. 28.
