Kevin Johnson injury: Seton Hall center out 2-3 weeks

Seton Hall center Kevin Johnson will miss some time due to a torn meniscus.

Seton Hall center Kevin Johnson will miss two to three weeks due to a partially torn meniscus, according to a report in The Star-Ledger.

Johnson is expected to undergo surgery on Wednesday.

The Pirates currently possess a 10-2 record and have a depleted front court due to injuries. Brandon Mobley has missed some time due to a knee injury, center Eugene Teague has been playing with a sprained right ankle and Aaron Geramipoor has missed the team's last five games with a stress fracture that could keep him out of commission until January.

Junior forward Patrick Auda will miss the entire season due to a broken bone in his foot.

Now, Johnson will be added to that steadily growing list.

Seton Hall is currently in the midst of a five-game winning streak and will look to extend it to six on Friday night when the team hosts Stony Brook. The Pirates will open conference play against DePaul on Jan. 2.
