The New York Knicks lost to the Chicago Bulls for the second time this season. Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler, and coach Mike Woodson were ejected during the 110-106 defeat. Anthony managed to score 29 points before being tossed. Luol Deng led the Bulls with 29 points and 13 rebounds.
Elsewhere in the division, the Boston Celtics lost in overtime to the Milwaukee Bucks, 99-94. The Philadelphia 76ers earned an impressive 99-80 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The Toronto Raptors continued their hot streak with a 99-93 win against the Orlando Magic. Toronto has now won five games in a row. The Brooklyn Nets were off on Friday, and return to action on Sunday against the 76ers.
