Rutgers Scarlet Knights cornerback Logan Ryan will have a decision to make about the NFL draft, but says he is not worrying about the decision until after the team's bowl game.
Rutgers plays the Virginia Tech Hokies in Orlando, FL on Dec. 28 in the Russell Athletic Bowl. Ryan told the media that he has not spent a lot of time thinking about the decision:
"I have plenty of time. But while we're here and while we're preparing for our bowl I just want to be a better football player and make this a better football team."
Ryan received All Big-East first team honors this season after earning second team honors last year. The junior cornerback led the team with 14 pass breakups and four interceptions, and had the second-most tackles on the team with 87.
The corner is currently slotted somewhere in the first and second round of the draft, although some experts say that if Ryan spends another year improving in school, he could be amongst the top corners in the 2014 NFL draft.
Head coach Kyle Flood said that he will sit down with Ryan and other draft-eligible players after the bowl game to discuss their options.
