Will Pinstripe Bowl sell out?
The Pinstripe Bowl will be played in 17 days and already both the Syracuse Orange and West Virginia Mountaineers are almost sold out of their allotted tickets. This begs the question: will this year's Pinstripe Bowl be a sell out?

Despite arrest Syracuse LB still eligible to play
Syracuse Orange junior linebacker Marquis Spruill is still eligible to play in the Pinstripe Bowl, head coach Doug Marrone confirmed Wednesday. Spruill was arrested, along with teammate Steve Rene, for disorderly conduct and second-degree assault.

Syracuse accepts Pinstripe Bowl invite
The Syracuse Orange accepted an invitation to play in the Pinstripe Bowl Sunday. The Orange's opponent is not yet known, but this will mark the second time in three seasons the team will play in this postseason event held at Yankee Stadium.

Yankee Stadium could host Backyard Brawl
If the Pittsburgh Panthers football program becomes bowl eligible Saturday it's expected to earn a Pinstripe Bowl invitation over the Syracuse Orange. Pitt would be matched up with long-time rival West Virginia Mountaineers.
