2012 NFL Draft Prospects to Watch
There is not a can’t miss prospect on either team and in all likelihood neither team will see a prospect drafted in the 2013 NFL draft, unlike in 2012 when Utah State put LB Bobby Wagner and running back Robert Turbin onto the Seahawks roster.
There are two prospects though who might get consideration and both play wide receiver for Utah State. The first is Chuck Jacobs who is the better of the two. He is 6-foot, 178 pounds. Jacobs most productive game came in late September against UNLV. He has a thin frame, but can run.
The other is a red-shirt senior, Matt Austin. Austin has good NFL size at 6-2, 200 pounds. Austin hasn’t set the world on fire, with only 652 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns on the season.
