The Brooklyn Nets just snapped a 5-game losing streak by beating the Toronto Raptors, they'll look to get a winning streak started when they play back to back games on Friday and Saturday this weekend.
They'll get their weekend started against the struggling Detroit Pistons on Friday, before hitting the road to face the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Jerry Stackhouse has not been used on consecutive nights this season, and it doesn't sound as if Avery Johnson intends to start doing so now. Brook Lopez may be available for the Nets though, and we'll find out as game time approaches.
The Knicks will have only a single game this weekend after their showdown with the L.A. Lakers on Thursday. They'll be hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, hoping to build upon their lead in the Atlantic Division. The Cavs are currently struggling, sitting at the bottom of the Central Division:
