The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets are set to square off for the second time this season on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET at the Barclays Center. The Nets won the first "Battle of New York" 96-89 in overtime back on Nov. 26.
The Knicks currently sit atop the East's Atlantic Division with a 12-5 record. The Nets have lost four straight games after starting 11-4.
After facing the Nets, the Knicks have a TNT showdown with the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. The Lakers are struggling mightily under new coach Mike D'Antoni, sporting a record of just 9-12 after entering the season with so much hype.
The Nets follow up their bout with the Knicks with a contest against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. The Raptors have gotten off to a dreadful start this season, as they sport a woeful 4-17 record.
