Eastern Washington vs. Wagner results: Seahawks out of playoffs after 28-19 loss

The Wagner Seahawks' season is over following a 28-19 loss to the Eastern Washington Eagles.

The Wagner Seahawks lost in the second round of the FCS playoffs, falling to the Eastern Washington Eagles 28-19. The loss is the first for the Seahawks since Sept. 15 to the Monmouth Hawks.

The Wagner offense struggled to move the ball all game, only compiling 296 total yards. Nick Doscher threw the ball inconsistently, going 11-25 on the day for 125 yards. Doscher also had a tough day running the ball, only picking up 44 yards rushing on 16 carries. Kicker David Lopez played well, knocking in four field goals.

The Eagles offense moved the ball much more effectively than the Seahawks, especially through the air. Kyle Padron completed 26 of his 36 passes, throwing for 327 total yards and one touchdown. Brandon Kaufman had a monster day receiving, hauling in 10 catches for 174 yards. Demetrius Bronson led the team on the ground, rushing for 76 yards on 22 carries.
