As the injuries continue to pile on, the New York Jets have 17 players listed on their Friday injury report, the team announced, as the team prepares for their game on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Among the seventeen, only two players are listed as out and do not have a chance of playing in Seattle, which are running back Joe McKnight (ankle) and defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis (knee).
After being limited in practice for three days this week, center Nick Mangold is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Mangold is dealing with an ankle ailment. Joining him are several key players on the defensive unit, including linebacker Bart Scott (toe) and safety Eric Smith (knee), who are both questionable.
Surprisingly, starting quarterback Mark Sanchez appeared on the injury report with a low back injury. Sanchez was able to practice in full this week, though.
Across from the Jets, the Seattle Seahawks also have injury concerns of their own they will need to manage, including star running back Marshawn Lynch, who missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
