Knicks vs. 76ers 2012 results: New York rolls, 110-88

The New York Knicks dominated the Philadelphia 76ers from start to finish Monday night, pulling away with a 33-point third quarter on their way to a 110-88 victory.

Carmelo Anthony led the way for the Knicks with 21 points, two assists and seven rebounds, while going a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Guard Ronnie Brewer, who has seen his playing time increase during the absence of Amar'e Stoudemire, recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in just over 32 minutes of action.

For the 76ers, Jrue Holiday led the scoring with 17 points and eight assists, but the attack was balanced, with five players scoring in double-digits. Thaddeus Young recorded a double-double in the loss, with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Center Andrew Bynum was once again inactive.

The win moves New York to a perfect 3-0 on the young 2012-2013 season, joining the San Antonio Spurs in a tie for the league's best record. The Knicks will now enjoy a three-day break before their contest with the Dallas Mavericks on Friday.

The 76ers, who fall to 1-2 with the loss, look to rebound Wednesday as they travel to New Orleans to play the 2-1 Hornets.
