Sports on TV, 11/3/12: Brooklyn Nets make their debut

The Brooklyn Nets had to delay their season opener because of Hurricane Sandy.

New York sports fans will get their fist taste of Brooklyn basketball on Saturday, when the Nets take on the Toronto Raptors. The Nets have not made the playoffs since the 2006-2007 season.

The Eastern Conference Semifinals in the MLS Cup begin on Saturday. The New York Red Bulls will visit D.C. United for Game 1. Although New York is the lower seed, the home games have been swapped in this series due to Hurricane Sandy.
