The New York Knicks got a much-needed victory in impressive fashion Wednesday night, dominating the Milwaukee Bucks in a 102-88 rout. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak for the Knicks, who are 10-4.
Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 29 points and eight rebounds despite not playing in the fourth quarter, Steve Novak added 19 points and made 5-of-7 from three-point range and Tyson Chandler had 17 points and eight rebounds.
SB Nation's Posting and Toasting enjoyed the victory, saying "Man, that felt nice. I think we all needed that."
The Knicks led the game by as many as 22 points in the third quarter. Milwaukee had overcome a 27-point deficit to defeat the Chicago Bulls earlier this week, but the Knicks did not allow a similar rally Wednesday.
Starting guard Jason Kidd missed his second straight game with back spasms.
The Knicks face the hapless Washington Wizards on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.
