Tim Tebow injury: Tebow expected to be available Sunday

The Jets are expecting Tebow to dress during Week 13, although he is not expected to play very much.

Tim Tebow has seen little of the field in 2012, but that has not stopped the media hounds from tracking his day-to-day progress with the Jets. Tebow sustained two cracked ribs last week, but he still managed to be active for New York as they took on the Patriots.

As the team begins to prepare for the slumping Cardinals in Week 13, Tebow is expected to be available to play. That does not mean he will be replacing Mark Sanchez as the starter, although he could play a couple of snaps to make the Jets' offensive playbook a bit more dynamic.

Head coach Rex Ryan had this to say to Conor Orr of The Star-Ledger on Monday. As expected, there were no real developments on the progress he's made the past couple of days.

"I'm not expecting anything to change as far as his availability, but we'll see how the week goes and if there's any significant changes," Ryan said. "I know he was active for the game, so we'll see. I know he's getting treatment but I anticipate him being ready to go."

In 2012, Tebow has completed six of his seven pass attempts for 39 yards. He's also carried the ball 29 times for 87 yards.
