Yankee Stadium will host the most-played college football rivalry game on Nov. 22, 2014 when Lafayette College Leopards and Lehigh University Mountain Hawks meet in the Bronx.

The game will be the 150th in the series that began in 1884. Lafayette currently leads the all-time series 76-67-5. However, Lehigh has won the last five meetings. Yankee Stadium will host the first neutral site game between the schools since 1891, when the teams played at West Side Park in Wilkes-Barre, Penn.

Both schools have played in the old Yankee Stadium. Lehigh lost to NYU, 13-0, in a 1937 game. Lafayette was 2-3 at the original Yankee Stadium, playing Washington & Jefferson once and NYU four times from 1924 to 1937.

The new Yankee Stadium, which opened in 2009, has hosted four college football games, including the 2011 Pinstripe Bowl between Iowa State and Rutgers. The next Pinstripe Bowl will be played at Yankee Stadium on Dec. 29 between teams from the Big 12 and Big East conferences.
