The Syracuse Orange have moved up one spot in the USA Today/ESPN coaches' poll to the No. 8 overall position. Coming into the season, Syracuse was ranked ninth, but traded spots with Duke, following their victory over San Diego State on Sunday.

The rest of the top 10 remained largely unchanged as Indiana still holds the top spot followed by Louisville and Kentucky. Ohio State, Michigan, N.C. State and Kansas all fall in front of Syracuse and Duke, with Florida rounding out the top 10.

North Carolina managed to move up one spot to No. 11 overall after defeating Florida Atlantic on Sunday. Arizona dropped to No. 12, despite a victory over Charleston Southern and Creighton managed to move up two spots to No. 13 after a 20-point victory over North Texas. UCLA dropped one spot to No. 14, while Missouri moved up two spots to No. 15 overall.
